Acting Coaching

As a professional actor of 30 years with a foundation in Classical Training, and a teacher and coach for over 10 years, I have always been a strong and passionate advocate of craft. I truly believe it is the key to authenticity, confidence and longevity in your career, your passion and your growth. While hard work and discipline are needed within a creative life, it is also 100% necessary for it to include joy, fun, curiosity, and a sense of adventure, even when the going gets tough.

One of the things I love most about Art is that it continually asks you to step forward, make a choice, fall down, get back up and view that as a GOOD thing. Something will be gained. The path will become clearer. To ask this of an artist, I believe it is my job to cultivate trust and safety. I create a nurturing environment, and with the addition of my life coaching experience, I truly believe guiding each and every individual back to themselves and what their instincts are telling them is invaluable. With a long professional life in theater (Broadway, Off-Broadway and Regional), tv and film, mostly spent in the rigorous terrain of NYC, I have gained knowledge through direct experience and that has led me to operate from a place of compassion, patience and connection. Whether you are preparing for an audition, need to choose monologues and craft them, wanting to learn more about craft and the business on a one on one level, I am here.

I coach through the fabulous Denver Center for the Performing Arts and have access to all their studios. Zoom sessions are also available, as I have many clients who live elsewhere or who are on the go. We can see what works best for you!
